Born of music
Doghouse represents the convergence of music and booze. Music is our inspiration!
This isn’t about booze for us, its about life. Music for us is at the core of our being. Its part of our daily routine, weekend, our nights out, our bbq, our good times, our hard times.
It's that constant that sees us through and picks us up making it part of our life’s journey! If you are thinking, ”yeh, that resonates with me too”, then you are one of us. If you aren’t then that’s ok too as we are here to spread the word and it only takes a millisecond to feel the vibe and your life changes forever.
Multi category approach
Doghouse isn't just a distillery that churns out superior spirits across a multitude of categories, in an uncompromisingly pure fashion, it is our way of life. We make things we enjoy drinking and therefore each brand is a manifestation of our passion. We create spirits taking a purist approach but putting our own unique spin on each category so there is a reason to buy more than once.
People ask us why we make many different spirits instead of focusing on one. For us they are all one…or put another way it's like saying on a night out “I am only drinking one thing tonight!” BORING!!
Yes, it's hard to be the best in many categories and marketing becomes the number one challenge in what is a noisy spirits market. We also don't have multi-million pound marketing budgets to play with.
So our authenticity and quality become our marketing. And that’s where you come in, our ambassadors, first adopters.
Art is passion
So why build an entire turnkey distillery which can process spirits from grain to bottle? One word, Passion! Because we care and want to show our process matters. We are authentic and true to ourselves.
So where did the music and booze crossover happen?
Well, if you are listening to music you tend to have a drink. Conversely, if you are drinking you tend to be listening to music, they are mutually inclusive.
The Doghouse is a place of expression, passion and creation and that flair comes across in our labels. Songs, art and liquid we drink are all just forms of expression. Our labels look more like record covers than traditional spirits labels and that's how we like it!
